Shudder Turns 10! A Celebration of Chills, Thrills, and Community

This year, our favorite horror streaming service—Shudder—is officially 10 years old, and they’re celebrating the milestone in the most Shudder-y way possible: with more horror, more community, and a nationwide screening tour that makes our creepy little hearts so happy.

From atmospheric ghost stories to creature features, Shudder has carved out a unique, cozy-creepy corner of horror that feels like home. And now, they're inviting us all to join the party.

What’s Happening for the Anniversary?

To mark the occasion, Shudder is rolling out a year-long celebration that includes:

New Originals like:

  • Dead Mail – A haunting mystery involving a dead letter office investigator
  • Shadow of God – A priest returns to his hometown and uncovers more than just secrets
  • Fréwaka – A chilling folk horror in the Irish language
  • 825 Forest Road – A terrifying tale from the Hell House LLC creator

The Shudder 10 Screening Series

We’re Headed to Overlook Film Festival!

Even more exciting—we’ll be attending the Overlook Film Festival in New Orleans this April, and we could not be more thrilled to check out Shudder’s live events while we’re there! From screenings to immersive experiences, it’s going to be a weekend of ghostly good fun (with snacks and spooky NOLA adventures, obviously).

Stay tuned here and on Instagram for behind-the-scenes peeks, cozy horror recs, and festival coverage with our signature soft-scream aesthetic.

Whether you’ve been with Shudder since Creepshow dropped or you just discovered Host on a rainy night, this is the perfect time to dive in and celebrate the beautifully eerie world they've built.

Happy 10th, Shudder—and thanks for keeping horror weird, thoughtful, and endlessly thrilling.
